Need help identifying my western saddle 5 Attachment(s) I want to identify where and/or by whom my saddle was made. I purchased it 30 years ago used from an older friend that owned his own tack shop here in Georgia. The saddle is really heavy, hand tooled, not stamped. The only identifying marks are on the tab on the left side of the saddle. I believe it to be a 15" TO 15.5" seat. the trees is rawhide covered synthetic material with either a 6 or 9 on it. I'll attach pictures, Tks! |

I'm of no use but that is a beautiful saddle! Like it very much. |
The double slotted cinch ring came out about 1960. I had a 63 TexTan with same rigging. The white buck stitching was making a appearance about the mid 60's, an early "dressed up" saddle. These older saddles were well made which speaks volumes for whomever made it. |
