Presenting: Gold N PsynnPsaytion- born 4-11-12

Well- after much deliberation and some great suggestions, Obsidian Arabians has finally settled on our new colt's name:

Presenting:

Gold N PsynnPsyation OA (pending)-
out of BA CHEVELLE (Psyche's Victory (Padron's Psyche) x Miss Madonna(Padron))
Sired by GOLDEN ECSTASY(Gold N Ali x DRA Burgundy Rose)

We are very excited that this little guy is representing his breeding so well already with an amazing laid back shoulder, poker straight legs, size and substance, short, tippy ears, a refined face with huge doe eyes and tiny muzzle, loads of chrome, and a motor and trot to pack it all around with!

Pics at 2.5 weeks:
(BTW- I know the halter is a bit big; we went through 6 and this is the smallest we could find as he has such a small face)

Like mother, like son.. this Lady certainly out-produced herself!

I have had several inquiries here and overseas as to whether this colt was for sale, but we will be retaining him at this time.
I look forward to watching this young man grow and become all he is destined to be...

Thank you all for being so encouraging and supportive during BA Chevelle's pregnancy and her resulting fine son!

Thanks Lady! I am very impressed with this cross. If Golden Ecstasy wasn't re-tired, I'd definitely cross him with BA Chevelle again!

There is an advantage to having the last 2 Golden Ecstasy foals.. hopefully, if this colt continues to exhibit this quality, he'll be taking Daddy's place! If Emma gives me a colt- I'll be hard pressed to choose between them..

A few more..

To give an idea of this colt's size, his Dam is a very substantial 15.2 hands.

TY for the well wishes BA!! He inherited his daddy's booty for sure..which makes me extremely thrilled, as his movement and trot are beyond words.. as you can see in this video:

He is lovely! He has the most beautiful face!

(Where did you find the rope halter to fit Dad so well?)

I love this stallion! He even passed on his signature "freckle" to his son..lol

I do not own Golden Ecstasy; he belongs to a dear friend and is now retired. If she would part with him- he'd be in my barn! I don't know where she purchased the halter.
