Loping. where should i start out?
 
I have a horse that has not been trained to slow down his lope for WP. Should I start out by loping him in a corral or is an open arena ok? This is a simple question. Just wondering!

I am not much for using a roundpen for a secure, rideable horse. I would use the arena.

I also vote arena, a roundpen has it's place but it can be easier for a horse to lope a larger circle in an arena.

Open arena. You're going to need the straight sides when you two-track.
