New to the miniature horse world
Hi! I'll be very soon a new miniature horse owner. :) My barn owner is selling her mini to me. He was a rescue about a year ago I believe. I was wondering if someone could look up his registration for me? I'm just really interested to see it!! I'll be signing up for a membership when I get paid, and we're just waiting on the transfer application to arrive.

I believe (unless i'm spelling it wrong or heard her wrong) his registered name is: Champagne Wishes and Caviar Dreams.

I thought I had more pictures, but they must all be on my phone. They're not real great, and one very short video. I have another one, but it wouldn't upload. :( In the pictures, obviously, he's the littlest little guy of all. :D Can anybody tell me what color he is? I think either champagne (probably where his name comes from) or gray but i'm not sure!

He looks like a chocolate palomino.

He looks Silver to me. Ask on the L'l Beginnings Mini Horse forum and someone will be able to supply his pedigree.

Don't let him graze on that lush pasture, for more than a couple of hours a day. Minis founder very easily. He already has a big hay-belly. Cute boy for sure.

Welcome to the world of minis! Be rarely ever stop at just one ;)

I'm not great with colors, but he looks similar to our mini mare who is a silver dappled palomino. I'd go with that.

Got suckered in, huh?

What is a silver dappled palomino? I've never heard of such a colour. Silver is either black or bay. Palomino is a separate colour.

I don't know. Thats what the BO calls her, I'm no good with colors ;) Or maybe it was just silver dappled. She's nearly identical to this horse: click with excessive dappling all over her body. And she gets a bit lighter in the summer, like the above horse is.

That looks like a black silver me to me. I believe there can also be brown silvers, although they are not seen as much. I have never seen one in the flesh.
