Confirmation Critique

She does not understand the concept of "You stay there. I move back, you hold your head up and I take a picture." She's too curious about what the camera's all about, thus no shots of her front legs/chest. I'm also bummed; she's getting chubby :( I work with her 3-4 times a week, but they've got her pasture feeding and that girl loves to eat.

She's downhill, cow-hocked, seems to have a ewe neck, slightly sickle hocked. Love her color.

Bad points: Ewe neck - she just needs more muscle to develop her topline :)
High withers
Slight goose rump

Good points: Beautiful colouring
Legs look clean

I wouldn't say she's downhill, I think on the third pic it's because she has her head down.

She's looks like a lovely mare :) I really like her. How big is she?

How do you working on developing a topline? She and I are both pretty green :) She's 15.3, a pretty big girl. She's fun; she's for sale if you're interested!

Hill work, especially walking is brilliant for developing topline, also bending exercises, circles, turns, and lots of transitions. Do you have a trainer? For sale? Wow, i'd love her, but i'm a bit too far away :( I have a soft spot for coloureds, that's my mare in my avatar :)

Thank you! It's good to know what to work on.

She's not my mare; I'm just leasing her, and she's for sale because her owner is more of a Western rider and wants a more finished horse. I hope someone snatches her up; she deserves a great home.

The horse in your avatar is lovely :)

all of the other posters have hit on her confo - - I just wanted to say I don't think she's fat at all; I'd actually be putting weight on her if she were mine... but then again I like 'em round!

She's cutee; I like her markings. :D
She is cow-hocked, bit downhill, & very noticable withers. She's cute though!!

Oh her withers are very noticeable all right. Riding bareback gets VERY uncomfortable after awhile.
