Pics of Maggie
These pictures are probably not good enough, but I was taking pictures for another reason and figured I'd ask about her conformation. I did conformation in 4h years and years and years ago and did horribly, so I'm not a very good judge of it. :P Her front right leg is quite crooked/toes in due to an injury as a yearling, and I *just* got her switched to a good farrier who is doing some corrective trimming to help to straighten it out a little bit. But that's one flaw I know about for sure. :) Thoughts?
Oh... She's a 10 year old Quarter Horse named Skips Miss Magnolia, 15hh and she's a bit chunky right now at 1175 lbs. >.>
I'm not good at conformation critique either, but it looks like she has a pretty steep croup.
Not a bad shoulder, though her neck is set a little high.
good front legs apart from the toeing in.
Not sure if she's on level ground, but she appears bum high.
Back is long.
Very sharp slope to her croup.
Nothing terribly off about her back legs either. They appear to be fairly correct in those photos.
she looks a little downhill
