Removing tree sap from coat and mane??? My gelding rubbed himself against trees in his pasture while shedding, and now his neck and mane have dried sap stuck in them. Anyone know anyway to remove it? I'd like to avoid giving him a bath, because he just recently got one and the washington weather is too cold and rainy for another one. Thanks for any and all advice! :) |
W-D40, just be careful not to leave it on his skin. |
Goo Gone. I know a dog groomer that uses it on animals to remove the adhesive left behind from tape. |
I think we have some Goo Gone laying around somewhere. I'll try it and see how it goes. I don't really want to put WD-40 on him, that just seems too harsh. |
I'll second the goo-gone/goof-off! |
I will third the goo gone. |
Looks like goo gone it is! |
