Jumper Round Critique
Sorry guys I know I've been overloading you with stuff, but just ONE more thing for right now.... Ok, so I went to my (and Shadow's) second jumper show on Sunday, and my friend's dad (who just happens to be a photographer ) was there. This is the video he got....
I usually have an awful habit of leaning at fences, but I felt like I didn't do it too much here. Also, last time I posted a round a comment was made about not going forward enough.... So, could you please judge me/Shadow and also if you think this round is 'forward'? --- Thank you!!! And thank you for taking my abuse of constantly posting pictures/videos!
A lot of the times in jumpers, it cuts back ALOT of times to just turn immediately after the jump instead of waiting a couple of strides.
I would like to see you relax more. You seem stiff, especially in the elbow, and your horse looks a bit aggravated from being bumped in the mouth every other stride. You look very nice overall, and I think relaxing and unpinching your elbows (allowing them to actually bend! ;) ) will help the both of you.
Cheers and good job,
Thank you both! I will work on tighter turns and relaxing my elbows next time I jump :)
