Fighting fire! My hobby(and career)
These are some pics of a fire we had back in November. I just got them not long ago. This is the last decent fire I went to before I made driver.
This is a picture of my truck right after we pulled up. It was taken by our public info officer. The fire endeed up going to a 4th alarm. My crew made a save off a balcony on floor #3 on the back of the building. I now drive that truck full time. I was on the back and now I drive the same truck. That very rarely happens. Usually when you get promoted they move you to another station. I was requested by the shift so I just moved shifts.
This is a picture of the first truck on scene. It was driving down the road to our station actually and saw the fire. We were at another little house fire at the time and they were coming to our station to fill in. We heard the radio traffic and bugged out to go to it. The other fire was taken care of and another company stayed to wait on the investigator. They were not to happy to miss " the big one":D
Awesome!! My husband is a career firefighter. A district chief in his department. I have the utmost respect for firefighters.

Hats off to you and every Emergency Responder out there! It takes guts to do the job you guys and gals do. Without your heroic efforts, we wouldn't survive! Thank you!!!
wow crazy fire right there and nice trucks :)
my dad is a firefighter too, as a battalion chief (career job as well) i hope thats spelt correctly :/ keep up the hard work and thanks for doing what you do, it takes a special person to go help others in a time of such diaster.
Thanks to all you and your men do. I'm currently trying to make my property fire proof... being in the heart of wild fires in California we have to do all we can to prevent the fires...
Without out those like you we'd all be at a loss. Thanks a ton. : )
My mom's on the voleenteer fire department around here and also a licensed Paramedic and my grandma is a voleenteer EMT. My grandpa used to be the Fire chief for many years then retired and my uncle was on the fire department(at least I'm pretty sure he was) before he joined the Army. I grew up around the station and the team. I have memories of being strapped to a backboard during drill when I was five and afterwords getting cookies and climbing around the trucks.
