My name is Ruby I'm looking for a horse... Been looking for about 7 months now and haven't been able to find one.
I have been looking every day at the horses for sale sites (equine.com, equinehits.com, dreamhorse.com etc) and I haven't been able to find what I'm looking for...
If you would like to help I am looking for:
5-11 yrs, 17h (or bigger... I'm 5'11" and all leg!!), preferably trained, clips-bathes-trailers-etc., good head on it's shoulders.
Gender does not matter
Breed does not matter
Color does not matter
MUST be in NEW ENGLAND, USA region!!!!
Example: New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Maine, and possibly New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island
I can't travel very far due to gas prices now =(
I am also looking to do dressage and cross country, so I need a horse who will be able to do/excel in those disciplines
If I have missed anything or you have questions/you know of someone who fits this you can e-mail me at:
I hope I'm not being picky, I'm so sorry if I am!!
Thank you so much for your time!!
My horse's name is Ruby. :D
I don't know how to help you..I would just say really keep on looking at those webites. Have you looked at horsetopia.com?
It was pretty funny, Ruby riding Ruby!
And yes, I have looked at horsetopia.com... I have it bookmarked! haha.
Thank you so much for your help though!
have you thought about getting a draft cross? I've seen some drafts or draft crosses that were over 17 hands. But i was looking in the NJ/NY/PA area
Do you know where I can find them?
It never hurts to look! :)
I'll pass this guy onto you. LadyDreamer on here suggested him for me, but i believe i already found the horse i want. She's not sure if he's broke to ride, but oh my goodness he is nice!
He's #2, the Perch/American Warmblood. 7 years old, around 17 hands.
BTW, i'm 5'10 and basically all legs too, and I might possibly be going with a 16.2 qh. I rode a 15.2 qh yesterday and because she was so built, i didn't look bad on her.
Good luck in your horse search!
i agree the draft crosses are awesome, try the american draft horse association web site-always a bunch of links-good luck in your search (be patient and the right horse will pop up for you)
It sounds like you are looking for an eventer. I was bored, so hope you see one you like;;
I have found a horse!!
Thanks to everyone who helped out!
If you would like to see him, just e-mail me.
LETS SEE HIM
