OK , is it just me or do these horses look bad!
Came across this post on craigslist and it kinda ticked me off! Too me these horse look underfed and don't look in good health to me ! They shouldn't be sold , they need to be given to someone who can take care of them ! Like I said maybe it's just me , but I don't think they look healthy at all ! Wish I had them money to buy them :(

theres a lot of horses like that on craigslist right now. but better sold than staying where they are i guess

calicokatt 06-02-2012 10:14 PM

Did you mean to post a link to the ad?

Calming Melody 06-02-2012 10:23 PM

Yeah they are pretty skinny. Some dullness to the coat too.

The bay is a rack of bones. I was be embarrassed to be responsible for these animals, let alone post an ad to sell them!

If I had the money I swear I would get them ... They look so sad :( Been thinking about going and seeing them in person and how they act and there enviroment and maybe a call to animal control ... dunno just don't think it's right

Calming Melody 06-02-2012 10:41 PM

They look like they are eating off of the dirt to ?!

WSArabians 06-02-2012 11:22 PM

They're skinny, but not horrendous.
The paint and the bay with two back socks look fine. The other two not so much - black looks like a deworming issue. The bay could be older.
Given the condition of the other two, I highly doubt animal control will do anything if they are being provided with feed and water, I imagine.

Horses eat grass off dirt; why not a little grain?

Hopefully the yearling stud colt and mares don't spend too much more time together.......
