Keeping mane on one side
There's a piece of my horse's mane that always flips over to the other side. I have a show in a few days and don't plan on braiding it, so I need it neat. I'm going to try to braid it until then to keep it down, but if that doesn't work what can I use to keep it on the correct side on show day?

My suggestion is to put a hoodie on your horse to train that piece of hair to stay there for the show and when you get to the show, use a lot of tail and mane tamer to keep it there.

Get some bands, get it wet, and band it on that side. Maybe hairspray the roots as well. Normally they go back within a week that way, but since your show is in a few days I would band and get a hood, and definitely leave it on as long as you can. All else fails, buy some of the BedHead Control Freak human hair gel from walmart or some hairspray and gel/spray it down. As girly as this is you could try using a flat iron too on show day, I've done that before too.

love that I found this thread! A whole section of Drifter's mane falls to his left side. It makes it look like he has an incredibly awkward butt part. hahaha
