Finally!

I don't know if anyone will care, But my horse, Shadow, finally took the left lead. After months of work she finally did it. When we got her she was pretty much untrained. At the age of nine. We figured out she was bred to be a bronc, but she turned out to be to small. She was sold from home to home and abused. She was unridable when we first started and about year ago I finally got her to canter without bucking first. She would only take the right lead. But after almost 15 months of work we FINALLY got it. Thanks to anyone who read this and my little excitement. But this is a BIG accomplishment :)

Aw, that's fantastic! Congratulations :) Not only is that a huge accomplishment, but training her up and making her comfortable from her abusive past is such a great achievement! So happy there are trainers like you out there

Aw thanks, I'm not trainer...I'm only 15 as well :P I have a long way to go before I could be a trainer :)

Well, actually, "they" say that whether 15 or 70, everytime you ride or even interact with your horse, or any horse for that matter, you ARE HIS/HER TRAINER, @ least for that time period! It's the work YOU DID which brought this horse from where he/she was (I'm sorry, I can never remember gender and can't look back at you're post on my phone, ugh!) 15 months ago! That requires a ton of hard work and commitment. Still really impressed with you guys! I'd love to hear about your other accomplishments together!

Wonderful work! :0)
