Hell yes! A woman making it in bull riding!
Not sure how many of you follow rodeo buuttt..
"Rodeo history made last week at Bennington, KS PRCA rodeo: Maggie Parker, 19, of Ft. Gibson, OK became first female bullrider to win money in a PRCA rodeo. (In saddle broncs, Kaila Mussel was first female to win $ in 2002). Maggie placed 6th with 70 pt ride in field of 38 contestants. She'll need to win some more to fill her permit and be full-fledged pro. Can she do it? A year ago Maggie attended Gary Leffew school and gained Gary's respect. She has tenacity he says." http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...64300208_n.jpg
Maggie told press: "This shows that women can do anything they set their mind to.

Women have been riding rough stock in open rodeos for as long as there have been rodeos. When things got organized with the old RCA (rodeo cowboys assoc.) and IRA (international rodeo assoc.) clubs, women organized and started the GRA(girls rodeo assoc). When RCA became PRCA, the gals went to WPRA. I rode bareback in open rodeos and bareback in the slack in RCA rodeos.
As long as a lady is willing to ride one-handed (much better, IMO) and go the 8 seconds, I'm all for them competing with the guys.
