babysitting a green female iguana
Title says it all. Do I know what I'm doing? Nope? Had to research diet, toilet duties, water, etc. Owner supposed to pick it up in a week's time. If not I'm turning it over to Second Chance Pet Network. I don't handle snakes and I'm sure not going to handle this thing. I feel sorry for it as it's not caged properly. It has about a 200 gal aquariam tank, dry. That is nothing like their natural habitat. I don't get why people get these as "pets".
I am just curious why you agreed to babysit someone's animal of you are so against the creature. If I trusted someone to watch my animals I would be pretty upset if I came to get it and found my animal was given to a rescue org.
I do agree iguanas are horrible pets, though. Snakes are a much better choice for someone wanting a reptile.
