Mr. Billy Dee, QH out of Miss easy Pat and Nacona Bill.. not many knew him and none like I did.. AAA speed rating on a defective heart (we discovered it just before he died), he only lived 3 1/2 years but I'll remember him till the day I die... at 15 I cried Like a little girl when the diagnosis of right side heart failure came back..

as for big names.. Dash For Cash

Secretariat.

Having watched him run and win the Triple Crown, I have yet to find any horse who was his equal.

I think Ruffian may have been as great as Secretariat, but she was an unknown since she died without really having been given a fair shake at showing her real potential.

Seattle Slew, Cigar, Zenyatta, and the revered Man O'War are all favorites, although I don't really follow racing any longer.

Secretariat, I followed Zenyatta SO much ( I was obsessed :P). I am a fan of Rachel Alexandra, Cigar, Seabiscuit, I am a HUGE fan of Ruffian. and Man O' War is one of my ALL time faves. I am also in LOVE with Foolish Pleasure.

Secretariat was absolutely unbelievable, though I would sell my soul to see Man o' War's 100-length win.

I love Storm Cat, not so much as a racehorse but as a sire. He sure throws some crazy babies though, speaking from experience ;-)
