Violin/Fiddle Players? I got a violin a few months ago and was trying to find sheet music for some of the country songs i listen to and violin tabs (if there is such a thing) Does anyone have or know where i can find free sheet music for country?:D |
theres not much out there. i used to play the violin and my first teacher was in her 50 or 60. she new alot of country music, so i would see some one who is around that age |
i play it and have been looking but i can't find any |
I played for 7 years before graduating...my best advice is to go to a music store and spend $20 on a book. |
Free and sheet music doesn't exist. It's danged expensive. I've found some by googling. |
When I have looked online the music is either way too simplistic to sound any good or is super funky and doesn't sound right. Although you could take the simple songs and make it into something your own if you're feeling creative. |
I used to fiddle! However I did give it up when I got my first horse, oops! Couldn't do both, mom said one or the other, and the horse won out. |
I've played for almost seven years. There's not much country violin music out there, but your best bet is to find an instructor that can help you out. |
Isn't music about being creative? Saddlestrings, how could you give it up, lessons yes, but playing no. I couldn't afford a piano for years so bo't an accordian and play popular and some classical on that. Haven't had a lesson since I was 12 but I'd already taught myself how to read music. I have this bad habit of playing by ear. This way I don't have to fork out for sheet music. |
I took violin lessons for a while a few years ago and I still own a violin, although I haven't had time to practice this year. |
