Possibly Kicked in rear right rear knee? (pic)
Does this look like a hoof impression right in the knee area
I think you're imagining things. I don't see anything in the hock area that would lead me to believe the horse was kicked there. Is he/she lame?
Not lame but seems to be favoring it, here is a link to our previous thread where there are videos with him, with and with out rider, were still trying to figure out the potential problem before we buy him as he is about 2.5 hours away.
Get a PPE done by a vet NOT affiliated with the seller. They'll be your best bet as to what's going on with him.
^Agree. I see what could be a small spavin but not knowing what it looked like before or what the other hind looks like to compare it's hard to say.
Here is enlarged image
maybe we cant see what your talking about because we just see this leg.. can you show the same part of the opposite leg so we can compare?
That rubbed place with the "scab" is just that. Hock sores are very common, especially when they are lying down on hard ground or abrasive stall bedding. Is that what you are asking about? I see nothing else.
Unfortuntly i only have a pic of the one side, i think were down to just getting a vet check, and a x-ray
