Possibly moving to a new barn!
2 Attachment(s)
Okay, so my mare is currently boarded at a bigger stable, but its more... run down. Cob webs everywhere, some fencing on some parts are unsafe, the wood on the inside of the stalls are slowly rotting, and some have been kicked out, ect.

Dont get me wrong, its a pretty good place. The owner trains the horses, feeds, and shows some of them. Theres around i'd say... 56 horses there. He has a outside roundpin, but its ueven and mostly grass, and next to a very noisy heard of cattle. But recently i've went and checked out another stable that is maybe 20 minutes away. the other barn is 1hour away. The new stable isnt as big, but goodness... its beautiful! The barn has concrete flooring, big stalls, rubber mats in them, and they get groomed each day. I also have a better "vibe" here, i feel alot more comfortable, and feel more comfortable having my horse there.

They train every type, and currently have 2 matching welsh pony's, a beautiful friesian, and a paint hunter pony. I am currently paying $1000 monthly per horse at the stable im at now. The new stable, is only $550!

Here's some info on the stable:
$550 a month
Clean Stalls 3x daily

No charge for:
- Fans, Blankets, Supplements, Medicine
- Daily Grooming
- Turn Out
- Exercise if Needed
- Hold for Vet and Farrier

- 50' x 100' barn
- 12' x 12' stalls with rubber matts
- Automatic, Timed Fly-Repellent System
- Pine Shavings
- Timed Lighting
- Heat Lamp Wash Area
- 100' X 200' Outdoor Riding Ring
- 60' X 85' Indoor Riding Ring
- Spacious Tack Room
- Restroom Facility & Lounge
- Adjoining 66 Acres of Trail Riding
- Hot and Cold water
- Farrier on premises

I cant wait to board my mare there!

$1,000 per horse?!? My, times have changed. Where I'm from, full care rarely exceeds $400 per horse. Yowza.

im drooling too! our barn is more of the cobwebby place :) not upscale like that but our stalls are solid and safe as is our fence. But .. i guess you get what you pay for. we can only charge 250 for full board here.. if we could get 550-1000 we'd have a lot more money to have a nicer joint!

Im drooling at that barn!

The people are soooo nice. And the owner is a woman. The past two places I've been at we're both men, and I didn't feel like I could act like myself. But she's super nice. I just have to work out a day to get her over there now. And believe me, when she gets there, there's going to be a ton I new pictures! Lol.

Wow, it looks super nice! The barns around here don't even come close to that, although they're about half the price. I'd love to eventually board somewhere like that though. :)
