How can I move up?
I have been riding for about 7/8 years now. And I feel ready to move into competing, but the stable at which I ride do not organise such events. I was thinking of getting a loan or share but Iím not sure if I can deal with it as Iím moving into year 10 and soon will start my exams. On top of that I live in London, so my options are limited. I have heard of stables that offer shares of their own horse, but Iím not aware of any near me. So does anyone have any ideas as to what I could do?

I'm a little confused do you have a horse or just take lessons? And by loan/share do you mean a lease option? I'm just confused on what your situation is

See if there are any pony club lesson stables who can do competitions. Where I used to ride they became members of the pony club so their students could do the badges and D-A certificates, and of course use their ponies for competitions!! The competitions are just against other lesson people and ponies, nothing outside the stables, but you get a feel for competition, and learn how to ride the courses well without too much pressure. Heres their website so you can get an idea of what I mean Home
