Help with saddles
The first one is an English saddle of some sort. I don't know what style because I don't know much about the different English styles.
The second one, however, appears to be a pretty standard Stock saddle (or an Aussie saddle where I'm from ).
The first one is an English saddle. It's a little hard to tell from that camera angle - directly from the side would be better, but it looks like an A/P (All Purpose). A dressage would have a straighter flap and a jumping would have a shorter, more forward flap. Looks like a close contact - there are no knee pads, and I can't see any knee-blocks, but they may be hiding under the flap. It looks English-made, but that's a wild guess based on just a single picture.
The second one is not a Western saddle. It's Aussie or Stock as previously mentioned. Or do you call Aussie/Stock saddle Western saddles in Australia? What we call a Western saddle in the US is very different from your picture.
Can you find a maker's name plate in the area near the stirrup bar on them?
First one looks like A/P, and second one like stock.
