this girl that owns this site is 12 years old. what are your opinions on her site?
I had her added on facebook and she was saying to my friend she had a herb that 100 percent cured arthiritis and I said theres nothing that can do that and she went bucket crazy at me.
curious to know Opinions?
People have their thing. By looking at the site it looks like she doesn't do it all alone, her mother (I am guessing) plays a large part in the whole thing. There are a lot worse people out there and they seem like they are genuinely trying to help horses. I didn't have a too close look at this site.. so I don't really know.
Besides, really she can do whatever she likes, if unsuspecting people decide they want to hire these people blind... well that is their problem. A few google searches will give them a lot of information so they can critically evaluate whatever they choose to spend money on.
Do you think It's worth having a page like this, like such as encouraging clients?
I'm by no means trying to say they shouldnt be doing it, i dont think i'd really take my boy there but thats not the point, would a page like this get a lot of attention? they are advertising it on horses for sale pages hence how i came across it.
I think a page like this could get a lot of attention - but not the right sort of attention.
They're offering range of services without offering any explanation of their experience or qualifications. They don't offer a part of the site to explain who they are and what they want to do.
The information offered on this site seems to be aimed at a very inexperienced horse owner/rider, and while there are certainly some of them out there, I don't think they would be the type of people to use these services.
To top it of the site doesn't seem professional, and a lot of the riding/handling could be considered incorrect by a lot of people - which is fine for a general horse owner, but not a great look for a rescue horse retrainer and riding instructor.
I do think websites are wonderful advertising tools and I know when looking for pretty much anything horse related I search the net first, but if they are done wrong they can practically kill a business.
What do you think of the whole thing Tayz?
I dont know. it's confusing as this little girl has a facebook and picks alot of fights with teenagers and acts like she knows everything when she seems generally wrong about alot. I just worry that perhaps they could do more harm then good but as someone mentioned her mum does it as well which makes me feel a bit better. But she really is a strong willed little girl, she really got violent when on several occasions i've politely voiced my opinions on certain horse things. I just hope they actually do know what they are doing and her mum is fully on top of it..if not I could see the little girl getting sued quite easily for something.
A little girl should not be one of the stars in a training program. I wouldn't send my horse there. Raina would eat this child for breakfast and wash her down with a tall glass of her hopes and dreams.
I wonder if they've ever delt with a seriously challenging horse. I can't really judge...but from what it sounds like, this girl has never been "put in her place" by a horse. So I'm guessing not.
