Urgh....I keep eating and not feeling full.

Long story short, I suffered from anorexia for a long time. I'm very strong in my recovery now (I am at a healthy weight), but lately, I have been eating more and still feeling hungry after I eat. For instance, I had Waffle House (for the first time) tonight for dinner. And just now, I finished off my rueben from Jason's Deli. And I still want some more food....What's wrong with me? Does this ever happen to you guys, too?

I think it's because I don't eat enough fruits/veggies. What do you think?

Are you eating too quickly? If you eat too quickly, your stomach doesn't know if you are full yet and that could cause stomach ache later.
Also drink a lot of water to fill up your stomach, because eating more won't help at all.

Thirst is often confused with hunger. Drink more water and water based liquids.

Oh, gosh, all the time. I have noticed my "munchies" are worse if I'm just sitting around not doing much more than reading or watching TV. I can eat myself absolutely sick at dinner (2-3 very large helpings) and within about 20 minutes, I'll have the munchies and I'll spend the rest of the evening making trips to the kitchen LOL

The best thing I've found to stop the munchies is to go and brush my teeth. I don't know why that works for me, but it does.

Yes! It usually happens around a certain time of the month for about 1 week for me. :-(

I have to go outside and do something or ill eat all day long. Literally.

I eat pretty slowly, actually, but I ate the sandwich pretty quickly because I was hungry. And yeah, now my stomach feels weird. Still hungry, but maybe a little gassy? I have been drinking a LOT more water lately, too. Like, in the past month, I've been chugging down at least the equivalent of three water bottles a day. Not much, but it's a lot compared to what I used to be drinking, which was very little.

Yeah....my time of the month is coming any day now. I think that's why this is happening, haha. It happens a week or more before my special time.

False alarm, everyone. Just mah PMS.:oops::shock::oops::shock::oops::oops::oops ::oops: Sorry....

 No worries at all :D. Much better to ask than to wonder and worry .
