Can she be a little jumper? The biggest we've jumped was 3' we only did it once, and worked super hard to get there. We've taken a break from jumping and have started to work more on collection/extension Sorry you have to go through two thread to get there, but since this is the "jumping" forum I thought maybe I'd get some answers. I don't want to do anything that's going to cause damage to her. http://www.horseforum.com/horse-conf...umping-130997/ |
Nothing? ): |
bump? anybody(: |
I checked out the links to her pictures and I think she would be fine to be a little jumper. If you guys have already gone to 3 foot before, I would say go for it, but build yourself and her back up slowly so that no one gets injured. |
Oh definitely. It took us 3 years to get there!! |
Conformationally I don't see anything that should be a problem. The biggest thing for ya'll will just be conditioning. Obviously since you spent 3 years last time you understand not to overface an unconditioned horse. Just a little note here, but people that only jump...Not OK. That will wear your horse down faster than you can blink. I jump no more than once a week...But I'm a little terrified that my pony will die of old age. :D You have a very cute horse, good luck! |
