Reining or cutting prospect?
I bought this colt 2 months ago, and now he is 3 months today. He will be shipped from wisconsin in 1 month time and i will finally get to meet him. sooo excited. My trainer is going to start working with him and getting him ready for his first show. We are going to start him in Halter shows. I was wondering if anyone had experience in telling if a colt had potential in reining or cutting? how can you tell? Just wondering what you thought of this little colt. Again he is only 3 months old.:-)

He is very cute and looks very breedy. Nice looking foal.. but they change a LOT between now and adulthood. Like him now for sure.
What is his pedigree?

He is double registered zippo pine bar, JOE Reed, POCCO, The Promoter, And the Invester. Their r a few other names but i can't remember them, i will have to look them up again. I think He is going to be pretty impressive when he is older...I bought him to show. :D

its possible. hes definitely got the hindend going right! but it really depends on the horse. youll just have to wait and see what he likes and is good at when you start riding him.

If he's got a lot of western pleasure names in his pedigree, he may be a little slow legged for reining or cutting.
