Breeches color question
ok so i'm doing my first english show next weekend and am looking for show clothing to wear. and so my question is are black breeches ok for doing hunt seat equitation?

No. You'll need tan breeches.

Always show in tan/beige/khaki colored breeches.

Unless it's dressage. Then you have to wear white breeches.

Because people school or hack in them. You just can't show in them.

You can school/hack in whatever you want, but when it comes to shows, its tradition all the way. It gives the more professional, clean look they like to see.

I have only heard 'Light Colored' Breeches for Hunters. Can't you use white in Hunters too? I know no black. I wear tan, because white for me is like water and gasoline - bad idea xD
