Hoof Boots Allowed in Halter Classes?

Hey everyone! I was searching through the online AQHA rule book when I came across a section that mentioned that hoof boots are allowed in all classes.
So... does anyone know if hoof boots are allowed in english halter classes? We're headed to the Fair next weekend and their arena is rather rocky. I'd ask the Fair people, but they're HORRIBLE about returning calls and the people at the reception area don't know anything.

Not sure about English halter classes but regular halter, no. Reason being the judge cannot see the horse's hooves to judge it against the of the class. However, if this is not AQHA sanctioned show, ask when you sign in, the rules may be more lenient.

Usually no one wears hoof boots in halter classes, because the judge needs to be able to judge the horse. All of the horse including it's hoofs.
