Be prepared for a few of these as I find different possible horses.
This mare is 10 years old, a Thoroughbred and around 15.2hh. I did e-mail for more information and pictures (although there were quite a few pictures available on the ad) She's in Halifax, so it's a teensy bit better. *fingers crossed*
And here's a picture of her jumping (possible critique on form maybe?)
I don't think her conformation is too bad, but I'm not an expert. She looks to be in need of overall muscling, but that can be managed. Then she looks to have some more upright pasterns and maybe slightly buck-kneed.
Shoulder is just a tad upright but not bad
Good depth of girth
Neck needs muscle
Hard to tell about her front legs with the photo being so small but they look ok. Is she wearing boots? Her pasterns/ coronets look puffy...
HIgh in the wither
Back isnt too long
Steep slope to her croup but fairly decent hindquarters
Looks as though she may be a bit camped out in the back legs but again, she's not standing square so it's hard to say
She has fairly nice, straight, even legs I think. No buck knees, and I like those pasterns, though they could be longer.
She is a very tidy jumper. Could go hunter or jumper easily. Nice snappy knees; a benefit of her shoulder and forearm build.
My concerns are:
She looks malnourished and wormy. Are these recent pics?
She has a weak loin and looks roach-backed, possibly causing the strange stance behind, and lack of muscling back there due to strain using hind end (hocks and butt).
She looks decent for a low level schooling show type horse, but that back and hind end look troublesome if you want to progress past that much without possible issues.
Then again it could just be the angle of the photo and/or the way she is standing.

And I'm not too sure, I did ask for more recent pictures and information. I believe it said she is UTD on everything.. but I'll double check.
Also, the weak loin would be fixable with more exercise, right? Or no? I'm not too experienced in the conformation realm, not yet anyways.
I didn't even notice the puffy coronets/pasterns, but they do look a bit puffy in the first picture.
