What breed is this horse?

Hi,
I'm new to this forum so I'm going to kind of "introduce" myself before I write the actual post.
I'm Annika, I'm 19 years old and I'm about to buy a horse somewhen this year.

Me and my uncle went to a horse breeder few weeks ago to see the horses that we are going to buy. What we know is, that they are part haflinger and about the other part we're not sure. We know that the dams are true haflingers but the stud isn't.

Here are some pictures of the stud: (sorry I couldn't take better pictures)

Here's the one I want to buy:

And that's the one my uncle wants to buy:

Of course we asked the horse breeder but he's not quite sure about it, since he got the stud from an auction or something...

I really hope some of you know or can assume what breed it is because I really want to know what kind of a cross my baby is :3

PS: excuse possible mistakes. english isn't my first language.

Howdy and welcome to the forum :D.

It's almost impossible to guess a breed on a horse, especially from pictures like that. About all I can say is that he's a pinto (colored) and he looks like a pretty strong guy. It is possible he may have some form of draft in him somewhere, but hard to say for certain.

If you were able to get some better photos of him, full body shots of him on level ground, that might help. But, again, no guarantees :D.

Thank you for your fast reply :)

I'm aware that pictures only can't really reveal what breed the horse is. I think we'll be going there again somewhen soon and I'll try to take better pictures of him :)

Hard to say, especially without full body shots. Sire appears to be a Paint but then again his face resembles that of a Friesian so perhaps he is a cross of somesort.. Handsome fellow, though

Oh, and I completely forgot to mention earlier, those foals are completely darling and, from what I can tell, pretty darn well built.

thanks both of you :)

And I immediately fell in love with both of the foals when I first saw them :) there's also another one, but she's already sold :?

I can't say about the horses but I will say that one would never know that English wasn't your first language. I admire anyone who can learn a new language. I've tried but to no avail.
Welcome to the forum.

Nederlands? Hier een Belg :)

Maybe some kind of Barock Pinto? Friesian x Tinker probably (sire).
I don't see Haflinger in the foals you want to buy but I'm guessing Friesian x Tinker x Warmblood?

@natisha: thank you :)
@Laures: You may be right about the stud but there is definitely Haflinger in the foals. I saw three of the mares and they were all Haflinger. ;) (You can slightly see them in the background of the pictures of my foal)

:-)
