- - wheelbarrow broken

Ok i was helping out my instructor who is also the owner of the barn, i was using the wheelbarrow and it broke while i was using for hay. I feel really bad about breaking it and i could tell the owner was okay with it but now the stable only had one for both mucking out stalls and giving hay. So i was thinking about buying her a new one or giving her a gift card for one... which one should i do??? Also i know i dont hav to do this but i really just want to do something nice for her:-) lastly if i were to give her a gift card it would prob be for about $200.

See how much it would be to buy a similar model. After that, if you choose to buy one instead of doing the gift card, you HAVE to put a big red shiney bow on it. No present is complete without it! :D

I am not sure which i should gift card or buy cause she always complained about how she didnt like the wheelbarrow so i dont know which one she likes and also do u think 200 is an okay price for one and thanks

Did you break it or did it break while you were using it? There's a big difference. If it was old / already breaking and you were just the 'last straw' I wouldn't feel obligated to buy a new one, especially for $200! If you somehow managed to demolish the wheelbarrow well that's a different story... =P

Most store that sell wheelbarrows also sell the parts for them. Much cheaper than buying a new one.
As a BO I wouldn't expect you to replace it & probably wouldn't let you, though I would appreciate the thought. Heck, I'd be happy if people would even tell me something broke instead of finding a surprise later. Stuff breaks all the time

Wheelbarrows out here are like 80-150 max( not a huge selection ) but i would go to your feed store or wherever and compare spme prices before settling. It is nice of you to want to replace it though.

IMO much great advice on W/B's given above. If I were to buy a wheelbarrow I'd make "dang sure" it was a "Jackson".

Things break when they get used from normal wear and tear. Unless something like you ran it over with the tractor, you don't need to feel bad about it breaking. If you feel that bad about it, a gift card for any amount would be very generous. Even for $20.
When you run or own a barn or business, you have to expect to replace things that wear out or break. You don't want to have to but it's part of of it.
