Deal 'O the Day!

I'm heading a few hours away to take a lesson with a pretty well known reining judge and trainer. Since I'm stuck in the car for a few hours I decide to search CL as I have been looking for a spare horse for a friend and also a saddle. I haven't been pushing the reining saddle thing because I know I will find the one I want in time plus I'm using my trainers so there is not rush...

That's when I find this gem!...

16" Tex Tan Hereford AQHA edition reining saddle. Full QH bars. Used mainly for showing. I've been looking for the imperial model but I love this brand. Looks like it could use a good scrubbing and it will look pretttttty!

That is not a bad price for a decent saddle. Will make a nice work saddle or clean it up it will work well for shows too.

You will either love or hate that seat though.

Have you ever rode a saddle with that much rise in the front of the seat? Like NRHA said, you'll either love it or hate it. The one time I rode one like that, it took me about 2 seconds to realize I despised it.

The saddle I ride in now has a little swell to it, not like this though. I was going to buy it and try. If I didn't like it sell it. I probably could of gotten a couple hundred more then I paid for it. The fleece was in immaculate condition with no rubs, tears, or scratches anywhere. The horn was still in great condition. It just needs a wood soap and tooth brush scrub and a nice drink of old and it should be good as new!

I ended up not getting it as the seat was to small. I would of bought it for resale but I'm trying to pay off as much of my new car as possible so the money is worth more in my pocket then collecting dust to for a few months. I'm so bummed about it =\
