Homemade cavaletti/jumps?

Hi all! :-)

I'm pretty limited on funds so purchasing legitimate bases for both cavaletti poles and or jumps isn't something I'm super excited about! :-P

Can these be made at home? Perhaps with wood blocks, etc.? If these can be constructed at home and still function safely please share your ideas! I'd really love to do some cavaletti work with my lady and still have money to eat dinner! :-P

Thanks in advance!!

There are some sites online that have basic directions. There are also several books in print that can be obtained at a library on the subject.

I know lumber costs money, but scrap is available. If dollars are very tight, perhaps offering to trade work for wood is an option.

Oh, I can definitely afford lumber, hehe :-P it's just that the price that companies want for those awesome little plastic stackable boxes (that look kinda like something you would build an igloo with) is ridiculous! With that much money and a little time and effort I could have an entire set up!

Thanks!!

I made my jump standards from some old 4x4 square fence posts we had in the yard and used PVC pipes for the rails. Which I spray painted bright colors  and the I just bought some jump cups.

I made mine in the same style as these, but I painted mine white
