Bump on head.
I was out at the barn last night with some friends and we were messing around with my 3year olds mane, as he does not like it to be touched or pulled. Well one was playing with his forelock when she noticed a bump just between his ears on his poll. Its not sore to touch and there is no heat in it, I have never noticed this bump till now and I am just wondering if any of you know what it could be?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated and please don't tell me that I am a bad owner for not noticing this bump till now, because like I said, he doesn't like his mane touched at all.
All horses have a bump of sorts there. I suggest you check other horses & if his bump is different than theirs then investigate further.
No, its quite the bump. It defiantly shouldn't be there because of the size and placement of it. But thanks for your thoughts.
Well then he's bumped his head. If it's not sore or an open wound, just leave it be but keep an eye on it.
