What do you think? (Halter/headstall)

Since I just got my first horse I have been asking a lot of questions involving bits. I have finally found the bit I want to get. . . . But now I am looking at tack. So what does everyone think of this halter

and this headstall?

They are pretty. I personally prefer a rope type halter over the flat nylon. I used the flat nylon for YEARS and then had a rope halter given to me to use. LOVED it. More control, etc. They don't come in pretty patterns tho. Also....$40 for a nylon halter???? A tad expensive. There are cheaper halters out there just as nice.
The bridle is nice too. However....again....price? No reins come with it? You can get the same type bridle with matching reins and possibly a matching breast collar for around the same price or just a little more. I love the quick-change clips for the bit on this one tho. You'll like that feature a lot.

Suggestions for cheaper tack include Chick Saddlery, Ebay, and Valley Vet.

You would never catch me paying that much for a non-custom halter

Here, try looking around Chicks, they have amazing deals and good quality. All of my online purchases have been from here.
