- - Manes?

I'm looking for any ideas/tips on how to thin Charity's mane and make it lay flat insetd of an upward angle. We cut it about 3 weeks ago and it's grow slightly. Roughly, it is 4" at most.
Also, I mainly use her for my braiding practice, haha. She's a sweety at being still now.

pull it! comb it down. grab a thin lock of the longest hair, comb the remaining hair upwards and out of the way, then pull the long hair out. Cutting manes make it look like a thick curtain, or it makes it stand up!

I've never pulled a mane either but I will keep in mind if I ever want my horses to have a short mane I will pull.
