Keeping rabbits out of an acre while trying to grow grass...
IS it possible? Afterwards they can have free rein but now thier eating all the seeds! My bf wants to make corneaho ensada, but I don't want to kill any because there is one that comes up and eats out of my hand : /
Try Human hair or Fox urine
...You don't have that much hair???? :P
I think you can buy stuff to spray on it as far as the fox pee go's... how about old hay? do you have last years hay you can through on it? or some straw? Those are my only ideas.........
i dont know if this will work but when the deer use to eat our shrubs we put pieces of soap down so they wouldn't eat it. lol
Some garden places sell fox pee, and you can collect hair from your brush, other ppl's brushes, and i think even dogs hair might work.
Further more, is it even possible for rabbits to ruin a WHOLE acre?
Other than fencing the acre off (what a job! ) I would suggest a trip to your local feed store or perhaps a home and garden center. I know that the feed company that my hubby works for carries a line called Liquid Fence. it is supposed to keep the critters out.
Wow thank all you guys for your help! Would sopa harm the horses though? Would fox pee or the other stuff discorage the horses to eat the hay? Thank you all again.
