Black Lab turning brown?

Is it possible for a black lab puppy to start turning brown? One of the pups from my litter is turning brown from the paws up and on the ears. Will she turn all brown or do you think she will go back to black?

Labs dont turn colors. Yellow labs made redden or lighten up, but they are still yellows. Chocolates are chocolates, and blacks are blacks.

Are the puppies purebred?

Yes, they are pure bred. Both parents are black and this is the 2nd litter. The first litter had some yellows so I was thinking maybe there were some chocolates somewhere along those lines as well

Could it be sunbleaching?

Highly doubt it since they are so young and have not been in the sun much.

Sometimes bad nutrition will cause this. But...I'd imagine you are feeding good food.

Of course. I always start my puppies out on quality food.
