7yr old APHA gelding. 15.3hh red dun overo, used for western halter and trail riding. Sire was Exotic Centerfold (deceased) dam was Post Toastie (deceased). "Cisco" is the high point halter champ at 2 saddle clubs and is proving to be a wonderful trail horse and really loves to please. He's also fast as a little rocket! lol but has crappy breaks  he's a doll to be around and is soooo playful!! He acts more like 7 months than 7 years and is very smart. I don't think he has a lick of cow sense anywhere in his body! haha my vet has a long horn cow that wanders the back lot where he sees his larger patients and poor Cisco thinks she's the funniest looking goat he's ever seen! :-P I'm open to critiques! It's his career being judged on his looks.
All I see is a long back, tied in behind the knee a tad, long upright pasterns, and a straight shoulder. I really really like this guy!!! Do you have any video of him?
No I don't :( I need some though! Once my round pen is built back then I should be able to get some video of him.
Nice horse. Very strong coupling. A bit camped under behind (tho it does not show in this picture) and a bit straight through the stifle. Wish he had a little roomier hock.
Nice lay of the shoulder.. wish his point of shoulder was a little bit higher. I am not sure he is tied in behind the knee.. the markings make it difficult to tell and his off front is turned a bit out.. so it may just be the photo and the stance. He might be a little back at the knee.
Withers may be a bit muttony.. but they are there and flow nicely into this back. Neck may be a bit thick at the root.
I can see why he does well in halter and also why he rides nicely too.
Thank you! :)
Anyone else? :)
he is a real pretty guy! I can't tell from the photos and it might just be the way he is standing but his right front looks turned out a bit. I cant tell what is going on with below the knee but maybe its that the cannons are small (thin)... A front on shot would be really helpful.
I'll try and post a front shot soon :)
