Guess this brand??
So I just got an Aussie saddle at auction. I wasn't there someone else bid for me. Picture below, please guess the brand.
I know it's a horrible picture, it's from a phone, but please do your best. I'm super excited so I hope it fits my girl.
Aww no one wants to join in :(
Sorry, I know absaloutly nothing about Aussie saddles :p
Haha thanks. I will get better pictures tomorrow but they were so busy buying other stuff they haven't had time to really look at it to tell me the brand. All I got was it's nice, I don't even know the seat size but it's mine :)
No one else?? Where's all the Aussie saddle people?
I will venture an amateurish opinion if I can see more pics. I'm just in the process of getting my first Aussie now.
No pictures until tonight :( I haven't even seen it yet lol. It arrived in my barn late last night after I was sleeping. But I've been told it seems like old school leatherwork with a very very nice blue fuzzy underside. I asked if it had flocking underneath and that's what I was told lol. It has the english girth straps and really really nice brass hardware.
I'm super excited and can't wait to try it on tonight, I think I really got a steal here.
I am going to guess it is a "Down Under Saddle Company" saddle.
Sorry there is the new thread I started when I got much better pictures. i figured a new thread was needed since I had a million more questions that had nothing to do with brand lol.
The conclusion we came to is that unfortunately it is not a down under saddle. But I don't think I will ever know what brand it really is since after doing a search they all look identical. It looks sooooo much like the down under ones but since there's no mark and the bottom color is a little off it most likely isn't.
But either way I like it so far and I can't wait until I get a girth that fits so I can try it out.
