Conformation critique on potential horse

This is a 7 yr. OTTB that I'm seriously considering doing a trial period on, he's in a different state so I haven't been able to actually go see him and I'm waiting on video as well as more & hopefully better confirmation pics. But, I'd like to see what everyone thinks of his confirmation, I have a few thoughts but I'm not good at all with being able to identify good vs. bad qualities. My hope is to use him as at least a 3rd level dressage horse. Thanks!

He looks pretty good, although a tad underweight.

He's pretty, I'm unsure about conformation for a dressage horse. I'd want a full PPE, being off the track. He has decent looking legs, maybe a roach back? High withers, but that's pretty standard for TBs.. undermuscled neck. With weight and conditioning I think he's be better.

I don't like the angle of his hip either. I personally, wouldn't don't know if I feel he's worth it being out of state.

Needs muscle and weight
Good shoulder
Nice depth of girth
HIgh in the wither but that is very common in TB's
Back is a good length, however somewhat roached
Very long cannons and a bit buck-kneed
I personally like his hindquarters and his back legs look good as well from those photos

I would definitely do a full vet check on him since his off the track, which is not the type of horse I was looking for, but there is something about him that I really like. In the future, in terms of soundness how much of a problem would a slightly roached back be as well as buck knees? I know I'm looking at joint issues but not sure about the other qualities?

I love his color!! But he really needs some groceries and conditioning. The only thing that really screams at me is his canon bones and front knees.

Are you sure HIM is a HIM? if so, then he's kind of sucked up in the groin area.

I ,too, noticed the long front canons. But, the overall leg is long, too.

WOW stunning colour. I agree with everything everyon has said except the shoulder... Personally, I think it looks a bit upright. I'm no expert though. I also think he looks over at the knees.

Despite that, I would go see him just for eye candy :P

Hind leg is a tad too straight. Would have a lot of trouble with the sit needed for 3rd level and higher. But he's got good pelvic length, so some strength there.

His LS joint area has a dip, I'd be concerned as to why. Previous injury, or...? This area needs to be very healthy if you want to overcome his straight hind leg.
