Critique my horse please!
This is Joey, I know he's a little fat, but we are working on that, so critique pleaase!! :)
I like his shoulder
Neck is set low & he's thick through the throatlatch
Back is just a tad long
He looks almost a little over at the knee, but it's hard to tell with the lighting and his legs being so black
Sharpish slope to his croup but otherwise i like his hindquarters
Can't really judge the back legs without him standing square
Joey is my horse's name too! :)
He's turned out on his front near side, seems to be a rotation at the knee, but hard to tell. Talk to your farrier, it could be fixed by him somewhat if it's a knee rotation, more so if it's rotating from the fetlock.
He also seems calf-kneed on the front legs.
Joey looks cow-hocked (I know, I've compared your horse twice to cow terms, sorry!) on his back legs, quite noticeably (at least in the pictures given) again, talk to your farrier. He may be able to manipulate the angles to help him.
He has a good slope to his shoulder, a nice length to his back and an okay hip. His neck ties in lower, so I could imagine him having a natural low headset.
That's all I can really tell. He is a pretty well put together boy; his biggest downfalls are his legs.
And everyone likes a bit of chunk on their horses ;) no need to Jenny Craig him! haha
