Showmanship Outfit?

This November I hope to be showing one of my miniature donkeys. So I'm looking for ideas for a showmanship outfit. My outfit idea so far is:
Nice starched blue jeans, long-sleeved button (that has a western kind of look), clean cowboy boots(they are the Bay Apache boots by Justin), a brown/black (whichever I can find in my closet) belt, a belt buckle, and a felt hat.
But I was wondering if I could wear a white long sleeved button up with a vest over it? Along with blue jeans and a hat. The vest would most likely be black, as I like the black and white look. What about a blazer jacket type thing? I would love to have a formal showmanship outfit but the ones I like the most are out of my price range (that's when I put them on my Christmas list:wink:). Are there any other ideas? The two I am considering showing are Apache (who looks great with a royal blue) and Peanut who looks great with a rich purple). This is a local show and would be just for fun and experience so I don't have to be perfect but would like to look like I know what I'm doing when it comes to how I'm dressed.

Hm... Id steer clear of the vest. That always screamed 'gaited' at the NASMA, so id follow that through to any mule/donkey show. Plus it would clash with the blue jeans .... id stay with your button up :)
Is it possible for you to get your longears NAMDA registered? If so, you'd love shpwng at NASMA shows! LOTS of competition for the mini donks, and tons of fun!

Ok so no vest, got it. I'm trying to get to them registered but at times I can be a bit, well, forgetful. That's why I haven't sent in paperwork for the ACOSA yet, I keep forgetting to print off their pictures. I would love to be surrounded by other donks and I'm sure mine would love meet others just like them!
