Critique Possible Buy! Thanks

So I'm going out to check out this pony. He's 14.1 and 7 yrs old. The ad says he w/t/c jumps courses and loves trails. It says he is a sweet guy, no buck, rear or bolt. I'm just looking for something to have some fun on, maybe do some low level events, but I'm not into competing and just want a nice fun horse that I can ride around on.

So if you guys could give me a critique of his conformation that would be great.

Here are some of the pictures posted.

What a tidy jumper! see how nice and tucked up he is, and for such a sausage, he has some nice bascule. I really like him! he will be an easy keeper, such that you will have to work at getting and keeping off the excess weight, though.

I agree with tinyliny. But as for his tempernment, you'll kinda have to go by what you see when you see him, not what it says in the ad.. Because he does look perfect for a horse that you just want to have some fun on :)

Thanks a lot guys, that's great to hear. yeah I totally understand how ads can say one thing and it turns out not to be true. I'm so excited to go see him but unfortunately due to our scheduling I have to wait until the middle of next week. I'll update you all though.

He has strong rounded hindquarters, will be good for jumping...
Shoulder seems slightly upright so I would be curious to sit his trot, could be a little choppy.
Good angles on his fetlocks, canons are nice and short, feet look good.
Back seems average to long, so would want to watch his weight to make sure he doesn't have back problems, but he seems like a really sturdy horse so it may never be an issue.
I can't tell exactly where his withers are because of his fluffy mane, but in the first photo they almost look lower than his rump, which could make it difficult for him to collect, but perhaps not.
From the jumping photos he looks like an earnest, hard worker who has been taught well. Knees are high and together, and he is rounding nicely over the jumps. Will definitely get you some ribbons in hunter.
Hope that helps!
