What breed do you think my pony is?
I bought my pony about four or five years ago. She is a liver chestnut 14.2 hand 7 year old mare. She is best known as, Penny. When we made the transaction we were never told what her breed was. So, I searched it to my best ability. I came to learn that her sire is a purebred palomino Quarter Horse. All I know about her dam was the she was really crazy and her name was Candy. I will provide a picture of my pony. Just about every horse person that has seen Penny immediatly calls her a Quarter Pony. Just a couple of suggestions of a second breed in her from my fellow riders were haflinger, morgan, and mustang. Does anybody have an idea what she may be. Thank you! :-)

Yikes! She has one incredibly sloping croup and roached back. She is probably what some call a Quarter Pony. A QH x some kind of pony. She might even be just a small QH. She looks as though she has lots of get-up-and-go and is a handy little jumper. Please though, at least put those chairs around the other way, if you must use them for jumps.
Cute girl though and looks like loads of fun.

I would guess QH X welsh, only because she has a similar build & look to the two i have known over the years

I don't see any haflinger in her at all. I'm going to agree with FeatheredFeet in that she is most likely a small quarter horse or a quarter pony.

Thank you guys.
Lizzie - I wasn't the rider jumping at the moment, but I don't have to use chairs anymore anyhow. I bought some jumps! Also, what do you mean roached back??

I didn't think we were suppose to critique in this section??? I believe your horse to be a small qh x. Have fun with her!

Iamanequestrian. A roach is an upward curvature of he spine, where the loin meets the croup. Your pony only has a very slight one, but you can see it and it shouldn't affect her really at all. Her very long croup, tell me she does have some QH in her.

She is very pretty! I would guess that she is a Quarter pony with maybe some Mustang. I don't see any haflinger or morgan.

I don't see Welsh or Morgan, maybe she is a QH x grade mare cross.
