So this is one of my boys Gulliver. I've had him for about 3 months, and he has come such a long way so far. I can't pin down a breed for him, though.

Some info:

Bay tobiano
About 14.1-2 hhs
BIG boned, with nice thick legs/feet
Draft-ish head
Approx. 12 years old

His last coggins stated his breed as an "amish paint." He is definitely a big boned, stout horse, although pretty short. If you need more pics, just let me know :) Also, excuse his feet. He saw the farrier a couple weeks ago and he'll be coming out in about another week to fix his underrun heels.

He looks like a standardbred cross? Maybe Paint Pony/Standardbred. He really has a standy head IMO.

Hmmm, I do kinda see the resemblance with the Standardbred. He looks similar at the trot. I'll have to try and get video of my lunging him to show his movement. Where did he get his body mass from, though?

Standys are very large horses which could account for the large boned/stockiness. And crossed with some sort of pony, could cause the shortness as well. But honestly, who knows? LoL.

I really don't see any draft in him. :?

From some Draft possibly.

What about a suffolk punch cross? He looks pretty similar, but is a couple hands short of the breed's norm. Once he's completely filled out, he is going to be an absolute tank, just like the Suffolk Punches.

Oh and to add, he did come from Kansas, listed as an "amish paint" on his last coggins. He may have been possibly broke to drive. He does have some scar tissue in his left wither where a driving harness would go.

He looks QH to me.

I'm throwing my vote in for Standardbredxpaint/pinto as well.
