What type of bridle do you use?
When you do eventing, dressage or jumping, what kind of bridle do you like? Color? Do you show? Any interesting brow bands or anything? What type of nose band? Do you have separate bridles for different classes?
I'm looking into different bridles and I found one that I fell in love with! Its black and it has blue pipping around the brow and nose bands. Just thinking about getting it. But I want to know if its normal to use something like that in jumping or eventing? I'm still looking into the rule books to see if its legal. But even if it is legal, is it considered bad to show in something like it?
If it's just a plain black bridle with typical piping, you should be fine (at least in the U.S.). I love my Wylde Jumper Bridle from Dover, but they discontinued the Wylde products last year. I've done hunters (both AQHA-type and USEF) and eventing with it.
