Good quality BLACK western saddle?
I'm looking for a good quality Western saddle that's black in color. There are tons of cheap-os on ebay but it's difficult wading through to find a good brand that isn't going to break the bank.
Anyone know of a good brand that makes black saddles so I can narrow down my search?

Simco makes a black one. I have one my husband bought a few years ago. I like it.

Do you want leather or cordura?

Depends on the material you want. I have a nice black Big Horn cordura that I love.

Black isn't a real popular color. I think if you look for a parade saddle or an older saddle you'll have better luck... seems like the 70's and 80's had the black western saddles....

I have a black & white paint and feel like other colors might look odd on him... although a nice dark oil/chocolate might look okay...

I have black because I like it on my sorrel much more than the tan colors. That, and it goes so well with his BRIGHT ORANGE saddle pad/breast collar and headstall/reins. <.< we're neon. lol
What other color are you going to use for your paint? I bet he'd look awesome in the bright blues, purples and reds.
