Cremello Paint

Hi everyone!

It looks like my cremello yearling is really a paint cremello :-o. Does anyone have one of these? Is that a rare combination? She has pink skin and blue eyes, and the marking can only be seen in certain light, but they're definitely there!

I tried to add a picture, but it didn't work. If you click on "horses" beside user, she's listed there with a picture. :D

I've seen lots! Don't personally have one, but I see them a lot at horse shows.

I haven't seen one in person (of course, I haven't seen that many cremellos in person, either) but I've seen pictures of them before.

None of the genes that make up a cremello pinto are particularly rare (cream + one or more of the various pinto genes), but I agree you don't see a lot of them! Depending on the particular shade of cremello, it may be hard to pick them out... my horse has white markings on all his legs according to his registration papers and I've never been able to see them, although I can see his blaze sometimes.

She's largely cream coloured, with a darker face and then cream blaze, a darker splotch around her tail and then some infront of her hind legs, and that's really all the marking she has. I want to start deciding what she's going to be trained in, and if cremello paints do well in shows, than I may use her for more than just trail riding! How did the ones you saw in shows do? ( I know it's more than appearance, but appearance has to help)
