XC colors?
 

Hey eventers :)
Desi and I need some XC color help! Our PC color is Pink Zebra, I'm wanting to use that color, I think our whole club is. Would I look dumb if I used pink zebra? We are jumping competing at Roebke's Run and Otter Creek, plus nationals in 2014. I would compete at either Novice or Training (probably training, but i'm still not quite sure).

are you talking about eventing in pony club or eventing in general ?
either way, i think pink zebra would be horrible. i would pick something more conservative, like white, navy, or hunter green.

im actually gonna be at roebkes run this weekend.

have you ever evented before ?

How about a royal blue or pumpkin orange? Something fun but still conservative and appropriate

For now it would just be for PC.

Yeah, I just started a few month ago, I'm not competing at Roebke's this year, maybe next year though. We are schooling at novice level currently.

Mine are navy blue and red. I think it looks classy on my guy and would work for any color horse. I'm hoping to get a red fly veil to match :-)

You could go with a plain pink for most of your tack, and maybe just a bit of the pink zebra? I wear bright, obnoxious orange simply because I began buying things so I could work Bailey in the fields during hunting season without getting shot. It look fabulous on him! So, I finished buying everything in that color. Orange fly veils are impossibly expensive, so we dyed our own. The crochet part didn't hold much color, but the ears and whatnot are nice.

Black with a touch of hunter green. I might just phase out the green entirely.

Though, I would like to do some black with hints of lilac, like the trim on a saddle pad and ear bonnet, possibly the trim on an xc vest.

Cool! I might do just pink and black, I'm not sure. :)

What about a pink saddle pad with a black shaped pad over it? Heres a cheap pink one
