Hello from Northern Virginia!!
Hi! I've been lurking around the forum for some time now admiring everyone's horses and soaking in the advice given. So, I figured it was time for me to say hi. :-)
I currently own a 4 year old OTTB gelding, Eddie (JC Name: Weigh Station Show Name: Edward Teach). He is my first horse, however, I've been around and ridden horses for a long time. I purchased Eddie off track at the end of May and since then he's come a LONG way. We schooled him for the first time cross country last friday and he has natural talent!
I also run Second Chance Sporthorses, and also have an account for my company here with the same name. I am the same person, but rather use that account when it comes to business. Eddie is Second Chance's first resale, and I am excited about whats to come with the company. I do have plans to expand to therapeutic riding in a few years.
So once again, Hello! I have plans to stay for a while. :D
Welcome to the forum!! We love pictures.
Where in Va are you? I live in NOVA too.....

Hi guys, since my account, OTTB Love, has been banned, I will reply with this one. :/
franknbeans, my horse is located in Manassas, and I live in Woodbridge. Where abouts do you live in NoVa?
welcome to the forum
I am in the Leesburg area, but...long story-my horse lives in NY, where I am a lot of the time, one of which is actually a therapy horse.
I love Leesburg. When I was living in Herndon for a year, I enjoyed making trips to Leesburg. We also head your way for an Event that we regularly take our horses too. :)
Did you move to NoVa for business reasons?

No-that is where hubby and kids work, so go see them. Long story. Did bring one of my guys to Berryville for the winter a couple years ago, and enjoyed it, but frankly this year I know I won't ride all that much anyway with other stuff on my plate, and it is a LOT cheaper here in NY, as well as my guy is at a friends farm, so when I do ride I have someone to ride with, PLUS, she has enough hay for this winter-plenty-which I believe will be a concern some places. That alone was enough to get me to leave him here and not worry about it.
NOVA Sterling lady right here. My OTTB lives in Northern MD though.
